TNL Website

ClientTNLIndustryHospitalityYear2023

The art hotel's website design featured a picture-oriented layout, grand color scheme, and intuitive navigation.

TNL Website

TNL is an art hotel where the physical space is the product. The website had one job: make you feel the atmosphere before you arrive.

Design Direction

We designed around full-bleed photography. The layout gives images room to breathe — no overcrowded grids, no competing UI elements. Navigation stays at the periphery so nothing interrupts the visual experience.

Key Decisions

A grand, saturated colour scheme drawn from the hotel's physical palette — deep ochres, forest greens, and slate

Typography that feels editorial rather than transactional — serif headings at display sizes, generous leading

Booking flow integrated seamlessly into the visual experience rather than dropped in as a widget

Optimised image loading: WebP with aggressive lazy loading so the site feels instant even on large imagery

Outcome

A hotel website that earns its place alongside the physical brand — one that makes guests want to book before they've finished scrolling.
